Program: In this former home of Billie Holiday, the goal was to meticulously restore all the historical elements original to this 1910 townhome while renovating much of the interior and making the necessary mechanical upgrades and structural changes. Another key, but equally important objective was to add quiet but sophisticated lighting to showcase our clients stunning art collection.
When we were hired, the house was dark, the historic mouldings were layered with globs of paint, the main staircase was slanted and structurally unsound, the HVAC system caused repeated floods, and the bathrooms need of upgrades.
